This intake system features a fully fabricated black anodized 6061 aluminum housing and top for light weight and maximum flow. The CAD designed intake tubes are engineered for maximum flow, velocity, and strength. It utilizes a huge 6" Pro 5R performance air filter, which is constructed of 5-layers of progressive cotton gauze, producing maximum flow. The system also includes a 6" Pro DRY S performance air filter, made of three-layers of synthetic media, requiring no oils and cleaning with soap and water for maximum convenience. All aFe intakes come complete with housing, tubes, filters, and all necessary hardware for an easy installation. In testing, this intake produced an astounding 15hp and 13lbs. x ft. of torque while outflowing the factory intake by 85%. aFe engineers also tested the on-road intake temperature of this intake compared to the factory intake, finding that the aFe intake had a lower intake temperature than stock.
