The aFe Power 28-10171 is a yellow Magnum SHIELD pre-filter wrap designed to protect your performance air filter. It works by removing large particles from the airstream before they reach the air filter, which helps extend your filter's cleaning intervals.

This pre-filter is made of a dry weave fabric that does not attract dirt and is washable with soap and water. It does not restrict airflow and is intended for use with air filter part numbers 18-31403 and 18-31423.
