This oil pan is constructed out of durable A356 cast aluminum with machined fins for maximum strength and styling. This cover incorporates a magnetic drain plug to capture loose particles for maximum engine protection. All necessary hardware is included for a hassle-free installation. Built-in External and Internal Fins: Built-in External and Internal fins transfer heat from the fluid to the outside air for maximum cooling. Magnetic Drain Plug: This system incorporates a magnetic drain plug that captures loose particles for maximum engine protection. This aFe POWER Street Series Engine Oil Pan is constructed from durable cast A356 aluminum with reinforced ribs and machined fins. These fins serve to transfer heat from the oil to the outside air for maximum cooling, extending the life of your engine. The pan features an increased oil capacity of approximately 2 quarts over stock, improving performance and longevity. It also includes a magnetic drain plug to capture loose metallic particles, enhancing engine protection. A key design improvement is the lowered drain plug, which ensures a more complete oil change by eliminating residual oil left by the factory pan's high-mounted drain plug. The pan comes with a Pro Guard D2 engine oil filter (aFe part number 44-LF001) and RTV silicone for a hassle-free installation.
