AFFF Automatic FIA Fire System

The FIA Approved SPA01FIA18-M4S is an AFFF automatic FIA fire system designed for enhanced safety in racing environments. This system utilizes a water-based foam that is alcohol-resistant and provides a high level of protection, comparable to systems used by professional racers. The fire suppressant is non-toxic and ozone-friendly, offering effective fire suppression without environmental concerns. The automatic activation is triggered by a thermal bulb in the firing head, which activates at 175 degrees Fahrenheit. For additional safety and control, manual activation is also integrated, accessible via cockpit and exterior pull cables. This 4-liter mechanical system comes with four nozzles, allowing for strategic placement of fire suppression between the engine compartment and the cockpit. The steel bottle is FIA 2018 approved (Homologation # EX.045.17), presenting a more economical alternative to alloy or carbon-fiber fire systems while meeting stringent racing standards. Each kit includes the 4-liter AFFF bottle (filled and charged), remote pull cables (6-ft and 12-ft), four nozzles (two for the engine, two for the cockpit), various fittings, polyethylene-coated aluminum tubing, extinguisher mounting straps with FIA Anti-Torpedo Tabs, and E-stickers.
