The Active Autowerke BMW B58 Catted Downpipe is designed to unleash the performance potential restricted by the OEM downpipe. It features a 4.5-inch diameter stainless steel piping for increased power and quicker turbo spool. This downpipe incorporates an Active Aflow catalytic converter that is EPA registered and OBD2 compliant, designed to prevent Check Engine Lights for cat efficiency.

The Active Autowerke AFlow Catted Race Downpipe is engineered to replace restrictive factory downpipes, reducing radiant heat and increasing performance for B58-powered BMWs. Constructed from durable TIG-welded 304 stainless steel, the piping measures 4.50" in diameter to allow for maximum power output and quicker turbo spool. It features an ultra-high flow 400 cell per square inch catalyst with Active's proprietary precious metal loading technology for greatly reduced emissions. The 304 stainless steel substrate is furnace-braised for outstanding durability, and the unit can withstand temperatures up to 1500°F, reaching operational efficiency within seconds of startup. This downpipe is rated for applications up to 800 hp and ensures no loss of horsepower, while also protecting passengers and drivers from harmful emissions and noise. This downpipe is EPA compliant for OBD2 vehicles (1996 and newer) and is designed to prevent Check Engine Lights (CEL) related to catalytic efficiency. However, it is not for sale or use in the state of California on any pollution-controlled vehicle as per the California Air Resources Board. The product comes with a 5-year/50,000-mile warranty on the shell and tube ends, and a 2-year/25,000-mile warranty on the catalytic core. Note that the warranty is void if the car exhibits excessive burble beyond stock, as this can physically damage the catalytic core. It is made in Miami, Florida.
