AFR 15° LS Cathedral Port Cylinder Head

The Texas Speed AFR 15° LS Cathedral Port Cylinder Head (AFR-1510) is engineered as a significant upgrade over reworked factory heads for LS1/LS6-based applications. This cylinder head boasts 100% CNC-ported intake ports with a 205cc volume and 1.120"W x 3.275"H dimensions, and 100% CNC-ported exhaust ports with 84cc volume and 1.710"H x 1.415"W dimensions. The combustion chambers are also CNC-machined to 66cc for optimal efficiency. Constructed from A356 aluminum, this head is designed for street, street/strip, and towing applications, supporting engines up to 383 cubic inches with a maximum operating RPM of 6300-6500. It requires a minimum bore diameter of 3.900" to accommodate the 2.020" intake valve. The valve cover bolt pattern is center bolt, and the valve angle is 15° with a deck thickness of .750". This head is also CARB-certified for 2005 and older emissions-controlled vehicles under EO #D-250-4. Included components feature 8mm bead lock intake and exhaust valves, PAC Racing dual valve springs rated for .600" maximum lift, titanium retainers, Viton valve seals, and hardened valve spring locators. The flow chart indicates peak intake flow of 301 CFM at .600" lift and peak exhaust flow of 233 CFM at .600" lift.
