AGM Racing Battery

The Braille B2015 is a lightweight Absorbed Glass Mat (AGM) racing battery, weighing only 15 lbs, designed to outperform and outlast traditional lead-acid batteries. This high-performance upgrade offers significant weight reduction, with up to a 2/3 weight saving compared to equivalent cranking performance batteries, along with increased power output and a lifespan up to twice as long. Engineered for demanding environments, the B2015 provides superior starting capabilities with a high cranking amp output per kilogram (1067 5S PCA) and features fast, efficient recharging – up to two times quicker than conventional batteries. Its robust construction is built to withstand high shock and vibration, making it suitable for racing applications. This battery is also capable of operating in "total loss" systems, where an alternator is not present. Key specifications include a 12V voltage, 21.0 Ah capacity (252 Wh), and a terminal type of Steel terminal block with M6 bolt, with a right-hand positive polarity. The battery operates within a charging temperature range of 0°C to 50°C, with discharge and storage temperatures between -40°C to +60°C. Recommended recharge voltage is 14.4V – 14.6V, with a maintenance charge voltage of 13.8V.
