The NGK/NTK AJ0005 is a temperature sensor with an oblong connector shape, male terminal gender, and a blade terminal type. It has two terminals and does not include mounting hardware. This sensor is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.

Depending on the specific application, this sensor can function as an air charge temperature sensor, ambient air temperature sensor, barometric pressure sensor, battery temperature sensor, engine coolant temperature sensor, engine cylinder head temperature sensor, engine intake manifold temperature sensor, fuel temperature sensor, HVAC heater core temperature sensor, torque converter temperature sensor, transmission fluid temperature sensor, or turbocharger boost sensor.
