The TC Bros. Louvered Air Cleaner is a USA-made, CNC-machined assembly crafted from powder-coated steel, offering a compact and stylish upgrade for your motorcycle's air intake system. You can choose between a standard round head screw or a decorative chrome tri-wing bolt to achieve your desired aesthetic. The manufacturer provides an installation video to guide you through the process, which is noted as being relatively simple. When installing on carbureted models, it is crucial to support the carburetor; TC Bros. recommends using their support bracket or a similar equivalent. For newer motorcycles that utilize cylinder head breathers, you will need to implement a solution for venting, such as TC Bros.' breather bolt kits or an equivalent product. Furthermore, tuning is advised for all applications to optimize performance and account for the increased airflow. This means either rejetting the carburetor or adjusting the fuel maps on fuel-injected motorcycles. Additionally, this product "Permits adjustment of air/fuel ratio; not for pollution-controlled motorcycles".
