This kit includes a durable chrome back plate constructed from a single piece of cast metal, incorporating integral breather and mounting brackets for a straightforward installation process. The air cleaner element itself is made from a synthetic, washable material that eliminates the need for oiling, ensuring easy maintenance. Installation is simplified thanks to the integrated design of the back plate. The round air cleaner element offers versatility; you can dress it with Original Equipment or accessory air cleaner covers, or opt for the open element look to showcase your performance upgrades. For added protection against the elements, a Rain Sock Kit (P/N 28728-10) and custom Air Cleaner Trim from Harley-Davidson® decorative collections are available separately. This kit is compliant with EPA regulations for all 50 U.S. states and is street legal when paired with stock mufflers. It is important to note that all EFI-equipped models require ECM calibration for proper installation and optimal performance. This recalibration is a separate cost and may incur labor charges, which are not included with the kit. The kit is specifically designed to fit '08-'13 Touring and Trike models, excluding CVO Touring models, provided they are equipped with the Original Equipment 50mm Throttle Body. It comes with the air cleaner, back plate, breather, and all necessary hardware. A 1-year limited warranty is included.
