The Hydro-Shield 1033RED is an air filter cover designed to enhance efficiency and protect your air filter. It is constructed from a proprietary, hydrophobic, water-repellent media that is also UV resistant and puncture resistant. This cover can stop contaminants down to .005 microns and has elastic properties that help it return to its original shape after servicing.

The Hydro-Shield 1033RED is a pre-filter designed to enhance the efficiency of Injen air filters, including their SuperNano-Web and 8-Layer oiled cotton gauze models, and may fit other similar-sized air filters. It is constructed from a proprietary base media treated with a hydrophobic, water-repellent coating, making it UV resistant and puncture resistant. This cover is capable of stopping contaminants down to .005 microns and possesses elasticity that allows it to return to its original shape and position after servicing. By shielding the filter, it extends the service intervals, which can reduce maintenance costs and improve the overall user experience. While it helps repel water, it is important to note that this product does not make the air filter waterproof.
