The BMC Air Filter FB01073 is a precision drop-in twin panel filter kit engineered for BMW M850i xDrive, 750i/750Li xDrive, and M550i xDrive models. Constructed with BMC’s Full-Moulding red rubber frame and a multi-layer oiled cotton gauze backed by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh, this kit enhances intake efficiency and captures finer particles (~7 microns) compared to typical OEM paper filters (~10 microns). Key specifications include a pre-oiled multi-layer cotton gauze with epoxy-coated alloy mesh construction, filtration efficiency down to approximately 7 μm, and a washable/reusable design compatible with the BMC regeneration kit. Each element measures 264 mm in length and 217 mm in width. This kit includes two panel air filters (FB01073) and comes with a 2-Year Limited Coverage warranty. The FB01073 is specifically for N63 V8 applications and does not fit M5/M8 S-engine cars, which require BMC FB01034. It is essential to verify fitment via VIN and airbox layout before purchase.
