Air Flow Research Aluminum Cylinder Head

The Air Flow Research Enforcer series cylinder head (AFR #1351) is designed for Ford Small Block engines, including the 302 to 363 cubic inch displacements operating below 6000 RPM. Constructed from durable A356 aluminum, these heads feature an "as-cast" technology on the intake runners, exhaust runners, and combustion chambers for consistent performance. The intake ports measure 185cc with dimensions of 2.010" H x 1.070" W and are located at stock position. The exhaust ports are 64cc with dimensions of 1.370" H x 1.350" W, also at stock location. These include ARP rocker studs, PAC Racing dual valve springs (rated for 140 lbs on the seat and .600" maximum lift, with a max RPM of 6300-6500), Viton valve seals, AFR adjustable guide plates, and machined bead valve locks. It also features one-piece 8mm stainless steel valves. The head is available bare for custom builds or fully assembled. Sold individually, two heads are required per engine. Important compatibility notes include that the 185cc Enforcer head is intended for dedicated racing vehicles and is illegal to operate on public highways in California due to CARB status. When installing, aluminum cylinder heads with factory bolts should be torqued to 70-75 ft./lbs using Permatex thread sealant with Teflon. It is also advised not to use the AFR gasket as a template for port matching the intake manifold, as one gasket is used for multiple runner volumes. Recommended spark plug starting range is Autolite 3924, and the minimum bore diameter is 4.000".
