Overview

The Denso 234-9118 is an Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) sensor designed to provide the ECU with precise air-fuel ratio response. It features a sophisticated sensing element and a 343mm/13.5" wire length.

This sensor is constructed with a Zirconia material and includes a double protection cover to maintain proper unit temperature and protect the ceramic element from contamination. Its stainless steel housing is resistant to corrosion, and a porous PTFE filter allows atmospheric oxygen entry while preventing contaminants. The sensor has a threaded mounting type and an OE Type connector.

The Denso 234-9118 is an Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) sensor engineered to deliver precise air-fuel ratio data to your vehicle's ECU. This leads to improved performance, reduced emissions, and enhanced gas mileage. The sensor utilizes a sophisticated sensing element and a 4-wire, OE-type connector with a 343mm/13.5" wire length. Its construction includes a Zirconia sensing element, protected by an aluminum-oxide trap layer that prevents silicone and lead poisoning and safeguards the platinum electrode. A double protection cover ensures optimal unit temperature for quicker response times and shields the ceramic element from contaminants. Further enhancing its durability, the Denso 234-9118 features a stainless steel housing for superior corrosion and contamination resistance. A porous PTFE filter is integrated to allow atmospheric oxygen to enter the sensor while preventing water and engine contaminants from entering the casing. The sensor is heated to ensure it functions effectively under various operating conditions. This Denso AFR sensor is a direct replacement for various Acura and Honda models, including the Acura ILX (2013-2015), Honda Civic (2012-2015), and Honda CR-V (2012-2014). It comes with a 12-month warranty.
