Description

The Denso 234-5736 is a direct-fit, heated Air/Fuel Ratio (AFR) sensor designed to provide precise output in proportion to the air/fuel ratio. It features a sophisticated sensing element that ensures an exact AFR response for improved performance, reduced emissions, and better gas mileage.

The sensor is constructed with an aluminum-oxide trap layer to protect the ceramic from contaminants like silicone and lead, thus preventing damage to the platinum electrode. It also includes a double protection cover for quicker response times and to shield the ceramic element, while the stainless steel housing resists corrosion and contamination. A porous PTFE filter allows atmospheric oxygen to enter without letting water or other contaminants into the casing.
