AIR/FUEL SENSOR

Denso Air/Fuel Ratio Sensors use a sophisticated sensing element for precise output proportional to the air/fuel ratio. AFR sensors provide the ECU with exact AFR response, improving performance, lowering emissions, and increasing gas mileage. Features an aluminum-oxide trap layer to protect the ceramic from silicone and lead poisoning. A double protection cover maintains proper unit temperature for quicker response times and protects the ceramic element from contamination. Stainless steel housing resists corrosion and contamination with a rugged, watertight body. A porous PTFE filter allows atmospheric oxygen to enter the sensor.
