The BMW Genuine Parts 13711438471 is a replacement air intake duct, essential for the proper functioning of your vehicle's intake system. This component's primary role is to channel air from the grille intake scoop directly into the vehicle's airbox. Over time, the original plastic duct can warp, leading to an improper seal. This compromised seal can result in performance issues and a decrease in the efficiency of the filtered intake air. URO Parts utilizes comprehensive laboratory testing for material compounds and manufactures in ISO/IATF 16949 QMS certified facilities, ensuring consistent quality. This air intake duct is specifically designed to fit the BMW X5 models from 2001 to 2006 with the 3.0L M54 engine, available in both automatic and manual AWD sport utility configurations. While generally a direct replacement, one user reported the URO intake duct fit at the air box was poor and too large, requiring modification for a proper seal.
