Air Intake Kit

The HPS Performance Air Intake Kit (part number 827-731) is engineered to replace the restrictive factory intake on the 2nd Gen Acura TLX A-Spec 2.0L Turbo models, including those with Advance, Base, SH-AWD, A-Spec, or Technology packages. Constructed with a 3.25-inch diameter mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube, this kit promotes improved air delivery to the engine. The system utilizes a high-performance, reusable cotton air filter and a custom-designed steel heat shield. This heat shield is insulated and powder-coated, working to minimize heat soak and maintain cooler intake air temperatures (IATs), crucial for turbo-charged engines. The open element design also contributes to a more aggressive induction sound under acceleration. The kit includes the aluminum intake tube, steel heat shield, washable air filter, stainless steel T-bolt clamps, silicone hoses, and all necessary mounting hardware. The product is backed by a 2-year warranty. It is important to note that this intake kit is not CARB exempt and is not legal for sale or use in California or on any pollution-controlled motor vehicle in the US.
