Give your 1.4 TSI engine a proper breath of fresh air with the Racingline Intake System. This cold-air intake replaces the restrictive factory airbox, feeding cooler, denser air to your engine for a measurable improvement in throttle response, power delivery, and induction sound. The standard intake on these 1.4 TSI engines is a known bottleneck, particularly once the engine has been remapped or fitted with supporting modifications. Racingline’s solution uses a large-diameter, smooth-flowing intake pipe that draws air directly from outside the engine bay, helping to reduce intake air temperatures and allowing the engine to work more efficiently. At the heart of the system is Racingline’s TriFoam® filter, a triple-layer laminate of open-cell polyurethane foam, striking a careful balance between excellent filtration and minimal air restriction. Each filter is hand-made in the UK and is fully washable and reusable, needing cleaning and re-oiling roughly every 20,000 miles. This intake system is designed for the 1.4 TSI (170PS) twincharged engine fitted to a range of popular Volkswagen models, including the VW EOS (1F), VW Golf Mk5, VW Golf Mk6, and VW Scirocco (13).
