Overview

The CTS Turbo air intake system is designed for the MK2 8J Audi TT-S. It features a sealed airbox that works with the OEM air scoop to force cold air into the high-flow cone filter. This inverted cone design allows for maximum engine breathing.

Peak power gains of 9-15HP are provided, along with increased horsepower and torque across the entire power band. The system also produces an aggressive, race-inspired sound.

The CTS Turbo MK2 8J Audi TT-S Air Intake System is engineered to enhance engine breathing and performance. The design utilizes the OEM air scoop in conjunction with a sealed airbox to efficiently force cold ambient air into the intake. This cold air then passes through a high-flow cone air filter, which features an inverted cone shape to maximize airflow into the engine. This optimized airflow results in peak power gains ranging from 9-15HP, as well as increased horsepower and torque across the entire power band. In addition to performance improvements, the system delivers an aggressive, race-inspired sound. Fitment is specific to the 2009 – 2015 8J Audi TT S models equipped with the CDMA engine and the factory K04 turbocharger. For 2009-2010 Audi TT-S models that came with a noise amplifier (part number 06F145700D), a modification is required. This involves replacing the diverter valve flange (06F145751A) with the revised part 06F145751, and removing the noise amplifier and its associated hoses.
