The AEM Air Intake Temperature Sensor Kit (30-2010) is an open-element sensor specifically engineered for forced induction vehicles where precise monitoring of rapidly changing inlet air temperatures is crucial. Unlike factory sensors, this unit is built to handle the dynamic temperature variations inherent in boosted applications, providing more accurate data to your engine management system. It features a 3/8" NPT thread size for installation. The kit includes the air temperature sensor, a connector and accessories, an aluminum threaded boss for mounting, and an information sheet detailing sensor output. Installation of the sensor's terminal to wire requires a specific crimp tool, and a compatible wire harness kit is available separately. This AEM Air Intake Temperature Sensor Kit offers high accuracy, with readings within 1.5°C (2.7°F), and operates across a wide temperature range from -40°C to 135°C (-40°F to 275°F).
