When unlocked, it functions as a conventional open differential, offering no compromise on-road drivability or driveline wear. The Air Locker's super strong, two-piece design ensures minimal moving parts for maximum reliability, and its patented timed locking mechanism provides high strength and ultra-fast unlocking. This kit includes the Air Locker differential, an activation switch, solenoid valve, air line, and bulkhead fitting. An air compressor is required for operation and is sold separately. The Air Locker is constructed using only the highest quality materials and has been trusted and proven in over 80 countries worldwide. This specific ARB Air Locker (RD153-TLC9.5-30-C) is designed for a range of Toyota Landcruiser models including HDJ80/81, HZJ80/81, FZJ80/81, Lexus LX450, BJ/HJ70, BJ/HJ75, FJ/BJ40, FJ/HJ45, FJ55, FJ60/61, HJ60/61, and FJ62, as well as specific years for these models (e.g., 1990-1997 Toyota Landcruiser HDJ80/81, 1996-1997 Lexus LX450). It features a 9.5" carrier ID, 30 spline count, and requires 50mm ID carrier bearings.
