The Perrin Air/Oil Separator is a high-performance oil separation system designed for 2002-2007 Subaru WRX and STI models equipped with a top-mount intercooler (TMIC). Unlike standard catch cans, this unit separates oil from engine blow-by and automatically drains it back into the engine, eliminating the need for manual maintenance.

This system uses advanced swirl pot technology and multi-layer baffles to maximize surface area and efficiency within a compact housing. A coolant-heated base plate further prevents sludge buildup by maintaining consistent internal temperatures.

The Perrin Air/Oil Separator provides a hands-free solution for managing engine blow-by in 2002-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX and 2004-2007 Subaru Impreza WRX STI vehicles equipped with a top-mount intercooler. By separating oil and water vapor from intake air and returning the oil to the crankcase, it prevents the frequent draining required by traditional catch cans. Engineered with swirl pot technology, the unit forces incoming blow-by to spin through multiple baffle walls. This process offers approximately 50 square inches of collection surface area, effectively simulating a much larger 13.5-inch tall separator. The base plate is heated by engine coolant to ensure the body reaches operating temperature, which significantly reduces water condensation and prevents the buildup of sludge inside the housing. This product is designed exclusively for left-hand drive vehicles. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware and a custom drain-back crankcase fitting for a complete installation. The exterior features a durable, powder-coated textured finish available in multiple colors to provide long-lasting protection against under-hood elements.
