Air Oil Separator

The IAG Performance Air Oil Separator (AOS) is engineered to safeguard and enhance your 2022+ Subaru WRX engine by preventing oil from entering the intake tract. Oil contamination in the intake can lead to premature wear, corrosion of hoses, and potentially cause detonation, pre-ignition, smoke, power loss, and severe engine damage. The IAG AOS mitigates these risks. Constructed from cast aluminum with a nylon top, this AOS features a 1-liter swirl pot canister and a novel baffle system that separates oil from PCV gasses. These captured gasses are then filtered and directed back into the intake tract. The system works in conjunction with the OEM PCV system, employing an upgraded metal PCV valve for increased suction and improved air-oil separation. For vehicles using ethanol fuel, it also captures fuel vapors to prevent dilution issues. Unlike conventional catch cans, the IAG AOS requires no routine draining or maintenance. Separated oil collects on the canister walls and slowly drains into the engine's crankcase. Its unique heating system, which attaches to the vehicle's cooling system, maintains the AOS canister at engine temperature, significantly reducing condensation and sludge buildup. The generous size of the canister also minimizes the risk of overflow. Installation is simplified with custom-length SAE Quick Connection lines, which provide a more secure and reliable connection than standard hose clamps. Once installed, the AOS offers a clean, factory-like appearance. Importantly, this system seamlessly integrates with standard ECU settings, meaning no tuning is required.
