Overview

The Racer X Fabrication catch can is an air oil separator designed to reduce oil in the air stream exiting the PCV on the 2023+ Toyota GR Corolla. It works by intercepting the air-oil mixture from the PCV, retaining oil in the can through a series of baffles, and allowing air to flow through. The system has been tested and proven effective through CFD analysis and road testing.

The Racer X Fabrication catch can for the 2023+ Toyota GR Corolla is engineered to minimize oil in the air stream from the PCV system. This air oil separator utilizes an internal baffle system to capture oil, allowing only air to recirculate back into the vehicle. As the air-oil mixture enters the catch can, it is diverted, creating a swirling effect that continues through the filtration process. Each baffle features an offset hole pattern that can be adjusted to enhance this swirling motion, ensuring oil has every opportunity to be retained within the catch can. The system concludes with a final perforation disc before the air exits. Key features include a stainless steel mini ball valve for simple draining and an easy-view sight glass to easily monitor when the catch can needs emptying. The package includes the assembled catch can, O-ring boss fittings, an oil-resistant hose, M8 bolts and washers, a stainless steel ball valve, and a dedicated GR Corolla catch can mount. This catch can is specifically designed for the 2023 and newer Toyota GR Corolla models, but it is compatible with Left-Hand Drive vehicles ONLY. Installation difficulty is rated, with an estimated install time of 30 minutes to 1 hour. An installation guide is available for reference. Please note that Racer X Fabrication products are intended for off-road or competition use only and may not be used on public roads.
