The IAG Air / Oil Separator (AOS) is a precision-engineered upgrade designed to provide unmatched protection for 2015–2021 Subaru WRX and 2014–2018 Forester XT 2.0L FA engines. Developed through years of rigorous testing, this AOS enhances crankcase ventilation and effectively prevents oil from entering the intake system, safeguarding your engine from premature wear, detonation, and performance loss. At the core of the design is a 1-liter cast aluminum swirl pot canister. This component utilizes an intelligent baffle system to efficiently separate oil from PCV gases before returning them to the crankcase. Unlike traditional catch cans that require frequent draining, the IAG AOS is maintenance-free. Separated oil gradually collects along the canister walls and drains back into the engine. A proprietary heating system, integrated with the vehicle's cooling system, prevents condensation and sludge buildup by maintaining the AOS canister at engine temperature. The IAG AOS seamlessly integrates with the OEM PCV system, retaining the benefits of intake manifold vacuum while increasing the system's capacity. For ethanol-fueled applications, it helps prevent oil dilution by capturing fuel vapors and reintroducing them for combustion. The lightweight yet durable aluminum housing contributes to overall vehicle weight savings, making it suitable for both street and track use. Installation is simplified with custom-length SAE Quick Connection lines, ensuring a secure, leak-free fit and a polished, factory-like appearance.
