It also minimizes sway and prevents bottoming out during braking and steering, contributing to a safer and smoother driving experience. These are reinforced by durable powder-coated steel brackets and utilize DOT-approved airlines. The system is designed for straightforward installation, incorporating 1/4-inch push-to-connect air fittings. For added convenience, an optional onboard air compressor and wireless controller are available, allowing for on-the-go air pressure adjustments directly from the vehicle's cabin. The kit is designed for a direct fit on 2007-2018 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 and GMC Sierra 1500 models, including both 2WD and 4WD configurations. Installation is described as quick and simple, typically taking 5-6 hours with standard tools. However, minor drilling is required for installation. It is important to note that this kit does NOT increase the vehicle's towing capacity.
