The Arnott C-2278 is an air spring to coil spring conversion kit engineered for the Mercedes-Benz E-Class Sedan (W211 chassis, 2003-2009) and CLS-Class (W219 chassis, 2005-2011). This comprehensive kit allows for a seamless and error-free conversion from your vehicle's factory AIRMATIC air suspension system to a more reliable and cost-effective coil spring setup. Each kit features custom-made shock absorbers with CNC-machined aluminum seats, ensuring quality and longevity. For an efficient and straightforward installation, the components come pre-assembled. Arnott also includes a patented Electronic Bypass Module (EBM), crucial for disabling the AIRMATIC system and preventing any dashboard error lights from appearing after the conversion. It is intended for vehicles equipped with Semi-Active Air Suspension (Code 489) and excludes 4MATIC models. The kit provides all necessary hardware for installation, offering a significant cost saving compared to replacing a single air strut at a dealership.
