This sophisticated, bolt-on system builds upon the capabilities of the Procomp kit by incorporating larger calipers, rotors, and brake pads, a higher piston count, and standard full-floating rotors that enhance self-centering within the caliper. Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The calipers also feature aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance and maintain consistent operation under demanding conditions. The kit includes custom caliper options, SC1 Street Pads, stainless steel brake lines, and your choice of slotted or cross-drilled rotors. The two-piece floating rotor design reduces both rotating and unsprung weight, and mitigates thermal stresses that can cause warping. This specific kit is designed for the front of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W221 models from 2006 to 2013, including the S430, S550, S600, S63 AMG, and S65 AMG. The rotors measure 400mm (15.7 inches) in diameter and 36mm in width, with a slotted configuration recommended for track use. The calipers are 8-piston, finished in orange, and feature a differential bore piston configuration.
