Its opposed piston design improves both pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM systems, and stainless steel brake lines ensure consistent performance by preventing expansion under pressure. The kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly to reduce rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stress, preventing disc warping and cupping under extreme heat. The unique rotor slot design minimizes braking noise and efficiently expels gases and pad debris. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. This specific kit features slotted rotors, which are recommended for vehicles primarily used for track driving due to their enhanced performance in high-heat conditions. This Ksport Procomp Big Brake Kit is designed for the 1998-2003 Mitsubishi Galant. The kit includes a ProComp 6 Piston caliper in red, with 380mm (15-inch) slotted rotors.
