The Nitrous Express Universal XT N-Tercooler Spray Ring Nitrous System is an alternative for supercharged or turbo applications where direct nitrous injection may not be ideal. This system enhances performance by spraying nitrous oxide over an existing air-to-air intercooler, which can significantly lower intake air temperatures. This reduction in temperature leads to a denser air charge, allowing for more efficient combustion and increased power output. In a dyno test, a turbocharged Honda equipped with this N-tercooler system experienced an increase of 52 wheel horsepower. The system includes a 5 lb bottle and is designed for universal fitment, though some adaptation may be required. It is specifically noted to be for supercharged or turbo applications, and a dyno test demonstrated a significant horsepower increase on a turbocharged vehicle.
