The AIRAID MXP Air Intake System is designed to provide higher levels of horsepower and acceleration gains. It features a one-piece roto-molded air box (in some applications) to replace restrictive factory designs, housing a premium AIRAID air filter for improved airflow and filtration. Air is directed through a new air intake tube made of cross-linked, high-density polyethylene, designed using computer modeling to maintain proper mass air flow readings and calibration. Many MXP systems include a built-in velocity stack to further enhance airflow. This system aims to increase airflow while maintaining proper air-to-fuel ratios, eliminating the need for recalibration after installation.
