AirCharger Air Intake System 3.6L V6

The K&N 63-1573 AirCharger air intake system is designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing in 2012-2017 Jeep Wrangler models equipped with the 3.6L V6 engine. This performance upgrade facilitates a significant reduction in air intake restriction, allowing your engine to breathe more freely and resulting in increased power and acceleration across the RPM range. A key feature is the unique snorkel system, which draws in fresh air from an optimal location, enhancing performance even in demanding off-road conditions. The low-restriction snorkel tubing channels air into a high-flow K&N roto-molded air box that houses a chrome-topped, cotton gauze air filter. The intake tube is aerodynamically shaped to smooth and direct airflow to the throttle body for reliable power gains. The oversized, cone-shaped air filter is washable and reusable, designed to last up to 100,000 miles before requiring service, depending on driving conditions. Installation is straightforward, typically completed in about 90 minutes using factory mounting points. The kit includes 11 stainless steel worm gear clamps and a high-density cross-linked polyethylene intake pipe. This K&N air intake system is not CARB certified and is not legal for sale or use in California or other states that have adopted California's emission regulations.
