It boasts a differential bore configuration and includes machined protection grooves for bridge tubes. Standard features on each caliper design include aluminum pistons, high-temperature seals, and stainless steel brake pad wear plates. The opposed piston caliper design enhances pad wear and caliper rigidity compared to OEM designs, while the included DOT-compliant stainless steel braided brake lines prevent expansion under pressure, leading to improved pedal feel and quicker response. This kit utilizes a 2-piece floating disc assembly, which reduces both rotating and unsprung weight. This floating design also mitigates thermal stresses from extreme heat, preventing disc warping or cupping of the braking surface. The rotors feature a unique slot design that reduces braking noise and expels gas and pad debris more efficiently than conventional designs. Each rotor is heat-treated and balanced for optimal performance. For vehicles seeing more track use than daily driving, slotted rotors are recommended over cross-drilled rotors.
