This kit utilizes advanced brake technology to deliver superior performance over OEM brakes. Each caliper is constructed from a solid billet of aerospace-quality aluminum, offering a lightweight yet incredibly strong one-piece design. This construction eliminates weak spots that can lead to fracturing or warpage. Aluminum pistons are incorporated for better heat resistance, and heavy-duty seals protect against high temperatures. The opposed-piston design ensures consistent brake pad grip and wear, while high-temperature seals, titanium retainer clips, and stainless-steel wear plates are standard. The lightweight center sections, made from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum, reduce rotational mass for improved responsiveness. The two-piece design also mitigates rotor warping due to heat expansion, and the aluminum center sections act as effective heat sinks. Standard equipment includes SC5 Street Pads, offering optimal braking for street and occasional track use with reduced dust and noise. An upgrade to RCI Race Pads is available for extreme track conditions. The kit also comes with D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure for a quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel.
