Each caliper is meticulously constructed from a single billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering exceptional lightweight strength and resistance to corrosion. The inclusion of aluminum pistons further improves heat management, ensuring uncompromised operation even under demanding use. This kit features 8-piston calipers for the front, paired with 356mm (14-inch) rotors. The opposed piston caliper design contributes to improved pad wear and increased caliper rigidity compared to OEM components. The kit utilizes two-piece rotors, providing lightweight performance, fade resistance, and effective grip, while also ensuring comfortable operation during normal driving. Carbon steel caliper brackets are included to ensure proper fitment at the OEM caliper bracket location. Standard SC5 Ceramic Street Pads are provided, offering optimal braking performance for street and occasional track use, with reduced dust and noise. D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines are also standard, offering a quicker pedal response and firmer pedal feel. Customization options are available for caliper colors and rotor types (slotted or cross-drilled). Slotted rotors are recommended for track use, while cross-drilled rotors are suggested for daily driven vehicles. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, and customers should anticipate a production and delivery time of 4-6 weeks. The kit is compatible with 1986-1991 Mazda RX-7 models, specifically designed for 2WD vehicles.
