Each caliper is precision-machined from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, ensuring a lightweight yet exceptionally strong and corrosion-resistant construction. The calipers also incorporate aluminum pistons, which offer superior heat resistance compared to standard materials, maintaining uncompromised operation even under demanding use. They provide effective grip on the racetrack while still offering comfortable, easy-to-use operation for daily driving. The kit includes Ksport's SC5 Street Pads, which are formulated from NAOC Ceramic material to deliver optimal braking performance for both street and occasional track use. These pads significantly reduce brake dust (by 50% or more) and minimize noise and rotor wear. The system also features D.O.T. compliant stainless-steel braided brake lines, which prevent hose expansion under pressure, leading to quicker pedal response and a firmer pedal feel than stock rubber lines. Customization options are available for the calipers, which come standard in colors like Orange, Red, Black, and Yellow. Premium high-polish finishes in Silver, Gold, and Titanium, as well as glassy/hard anodized colors, are also offered, with over 20,000 custom color finishes available. For the rotors, customers can choose between Slotted or Cross Drilled options. Cross Drilled rotors are recommended for daily driven vehicles as they run cooler, while Slotted rotors are recommended for vehicles that will see more track time. Ksport Big Brake kits are built to order, with production and delivery typically taking 4-6 weeks.
