The Pipercross AirMax Air Intake System is a performance air intake kit designed to replace the OEM airbox lid, air filter, and intake hose on Mini Cooper B48 2.0L engines. It features a carbon fiber lid, a high-flow premium panel filter, and a mandrel-bent aluminum rear intake pipe for improved airflow.

Each kit includes stainless steel hardware and a flow-matched silicone hose to ensure precise fitment and consistent performance.

The Pipercross AirMax Air Intake System is a precision-engineered upgrade for the 2013-2025 Mini Cooper (F55, F56, and F57) equipped with the 2.0L B48 engine. This kit replaces restrictive OEM intake components, including the upper airbox lid, air filter, rear intake pipe, and intake hose, to significantly improve engine breathing and throttle response. The kit also replaces the stock turbocharger inlet pipe with a 76mm mandrel-bent aluminum tube, eliminating the integrated sound suppression chamber to maximize airflow. A 5-ply silicone intake hose with a smooth internal bore is included to maintain engine flexure while eliminating turbulence. Developed using 3D scanning and CFD technology, the system ensures a factory-like fitment and maintains accurate MAF sensor readings via a billet aluminum housing. All stainless steel hardware is included to prevent corrosion in engine bay conditions. The system is compatible with both stock and stage 1 software tuning, with performance testing showing significant gains in both horsepower and torque across the power band compared to the stock intake configuration.
