Airtech Air Over Strut Kit

The kit features 2-piston calipers constructed from a solid billet of aircraft-grade aluminum, offering a combination of light weight, exceptional strength, and corrosion resistance. These calipers utilize aluminum pistons, which improve heat management and reduce weight compared to steel. The braking system employs 2-piece, vented, and drilled cast iron rotors measuring 304mm (12") in diameter. These rotors are paired with aluminum centers to reduce rotational mass, leading to quicker braking response and shorter stopping distances. The 2-piece design also allows for more freedom in expansion and contraction, significantly reducing the chance of rotor warpage. Reinforced carbon steel caliper brackets ensure these larger-than-OEM calipers mount directly to existing points. For enhanced pedal feel and consistency, the kit includes heavy-duty caliper seals for high-temperature use and stainless steel brake lines. These lines prevent expansion under pressure, delivering a faster and more consistent pedal response. The kit is compatible with a minimum wheel diameter of 16 inches and comes with street-performance brake pads. Applications: This kit is specifically designed for the 2003-2007 Mitsubishi Evolution models.
