The Ksport Airtech Deluxe Air Suspension system is engineered for drag racing, built to enhance performance on the strip by reducing elapsed times and 60-foot times. This kit is custom-valved and features appropriate spring rates tailored to optimize weight transfer during launch, with specific designs for FWD, RWD, or AWD vehicles. It's important to note that this system is not intended for daily driving use. This suspension system offers 36 levels of damping adjustment, allowing precise tuning of the ride. It utilizes Monotube shocks, which are known for superior heat dissipation compared to twin-tube designs, leading to more consistent performance and finer damping control. The construction includes 6061 aluminum with T6 treatment for collars and upper mounts, ensuring hardness and durability. Pillowball upper mounts are incorporated in many applications with McPherson suspension, enhancing steering feel and response while a patented bearing design combats noise during turns. Key specifications include adjustable height, gas-charged Monotube shocks, and specific spring rates: 7.2 kg/mm for the front and 18 kg/mm for the rear. The front upper mount type features a pillowball with camber adjustment, while the rear upper mount is aluminum without camber adjustment. The lower mount is adjustable, allowing for maximum suspension travel. The electroplated body provides added protection against corrosion and rust.
