The Classic Alfin Style Brake Drum revives a popular design for MGB vehicles manufactured between 1965 and 1980, specifically those equipped with tube axles. These drums are constructed with an aluminum housing and a mechanically locked cast iron liner, ensuring robust performance under various driving conditions. The aluminum construction contributes to a lighter weight compared to conventional drums, while the distinctive radial fins serve as effective heat sinks. This design enhances braking efficiency, helps dissipate heat generated during heavy braking, and consequently reduces the likelihood of brake fade. The exterior of the Alfin Style Brake Drum is finished with a shot-blasting process to achieve a matte appearance, offering a classic aesthetic that complements the appearance of your wheels. Each drum is sold individually. Please note that this brake drum will not fit "LE" type wheels. Additionally, this product is subject to California Proposition 65 warnings regarding potential exposure to chemicals known to cause cancer or reproductive harm.
