The US Radiator AL036045-441-1 is an all-aluminum performance radiator meticulously engineered for form, fit, and high-performance cooling in 1970-1972 Dodge Charger models equipped with V8 BB engines. This radiator boasts an all-aluminum construction with no epoxy, ensuring durability and optimal heat transfer comparable to any 2-row aluminum radiator on the market. It features a high-efficiency core design with 2 rows of 1-inch tubes, and its components are precisely die-stamped to eliminate weld-related failures and maintain uniform, high-standard quality. The unit offers original appearance and OE mounting, providing an application-specific fit rather than a universal one. Key specifications include a downflow airflow type, 1-1/2" inlet size, and 1-3/4" outlet size. The core size measures 17-3/4 x 26 inches, and the radiator weighs 40 lbs. It includes a transmission cooler size of 10x1/8 NPT and is compatible with factory AC systems (N/A, No, Yes). Users can choose between a standard High Efficiency core or a High Efficiency with Tripleflow core. Additionally, there are options to add a polished finish, black paint, a billet filler neck, or a 2-row 1.25″ core upgrade. Important installation notes include that the fan shroud flange is blank, and mounting holes must be drilled by the installer. The manufacturer also advises against using antifreeze with nitrates in aluminum units, as this voids the warranty, and recommends using a 50/50 premix only.
