Description

This billet one-piece flex plate replaces the factory flywheel/flex plate, eliminating the heavy cast iron and weak stamped steel flex plate. It is essential for high torque applications in conjunction with a better-designed torque converter to transfer torque without slip. The flex plate bolts to the crankshaft, and the converter then bolts to the flex plate, transferring torque from the engine to the flex plate, then to the torque converter, and finally to the input shaft in the transmission. This flex plate is SFI 29.3 certified.
