The Mag-Hytec Allison 1000 transmission pan is a heavy-duty upgrade constructed from cast aluminum in the USA. It offers superior heat dissipation compared to stock steel pans due to the aluminum construction, internal and external cooling fins, and increased fluid capacity. This pan also features a magnetic drain plug to capture metal particles and a pre-tapped 1/8 NPT port for temperature probe installation. It utilizes an o-ring seal for a clean installation without messy gaskets or sealant.

The Mag-Hytec Allison 1000 transmission pan is a heavy-duty upgrade designed to significantly improve transmission cooling and durability. This enhanced cooling is achieved through a combination of factors: the inherent thermal properties of aluminum, Mag-Hytec's design incorporating internal heat sink fins and external cooling fins, and an increased fluid capacity that allows for denser, cooler fluid. Beyond its cooling capabilities, this transmission pan is engineered with additional features for performance and maintenance. For those looking to monitor transmission temperatures closely, the pan features a pre-tapped 1/8 NPT port, which comes capped with a stainless steel plug when not in use. Installation is also simplified, as the pan uses an o-ring seal, eliminating the need for messy sealants or traditional gaskets. This Mag-Hytec transmission pan is compatible with 2001-2023 GM 6.6L Duramax vehicles equipped with the Allison 1000, 2000, or 2400 series transmissions. It holds a total capacity of 10.5 quarts. It is important to note that an Allison deep pan filter (#29542824) is required for installation with this transmission pan.
