The Sun Coast GMAX-CAT1-LB7/LLY-KIT Category 1 Rebuild Kit W/ Converter is an upgrade for the Allison transmission in 2004-2005 GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY engines. It uses steel and friction materials from Raybestos and Alto, engineered for towing, sled pulling, drag racing, or daily driving. The kit is designed to handle 500 horsepower when correctly installed, up from the stock Allison's 400 horsepower capacity.
