Alloy Axle Package

The Strange Engineering P3102 is an alloy axle package engineered for both street and track performance, offering a robust solution for enhanced drivetrain reliability. This package includes essential components such as axle bearings, retainer plates, and wheel studs, providing a comprehensive upgrade. Machining is performed before heat treatment to ensure consistent hardness, followed by induction hardening to Rc 58-62 for superior torsional strength without sacrificing ductility. Final machining after heat treatment guarantees precise dimensions. Available in 28, 30, and 31 spline counts, these axles are designed to fit a range of Ford, Mopar, and Chevy rear ends, including Ford 8.8 and 9-inch rears, as well as Chevy 10-bolt and 12-bolt rears. Customers can select from various bearing options, including Timken® Tapered Unit Bearings for side-loading and high mileage, or Sealed Ball Bearings. Retainer plates are also included to ensure proper axle retention. The package offers a choice of press-in or screw-in wheel studs, with options for 7/16″-20 or 1/2″-20 sizes, including various lengths and materials like chrome moly. Additional options are available for installation, such as professional installation of axle bearings, and the possibility of adding an access hole or extra bolt circle. The product is also available in configurations with a 5/8″ stud kit or with a spool for those seeking further performance enhancements.
