Its unique emulsifiable properties allow it to effectively pick up moisture carried in the air stream, thereby mitigating the negative effects of water on wear and corrosion. This characteristic, combined with its good preferential metal-wetting capabilities even in the presence of water, ensures the maintenance of continuous oil films. Mobil Almo 529 features a high viscosity index, ensuring consistent lubrication across a wide temperature range, from the low temperatures caused by air expansion to higher operating temperatures. It offers excellent load-carrying ability and anti-wear protection, which directly translates to reduced component wear, prolonged equipment life, and lower maintenance costs. Furthermore, its very good adhesive characteristics protect metal surfaces, and its inherent rust and corrosion resistance contributes to longer tool life and enhanced tool performance. The lubricant also boasts very low oil fog generation levels.
