The Mobil Almo 529 is a premium, high-performance specialty lubricant engineered for the demanding lubrication needs of pneumatically operated rock drills in both underground and surface mining operations. This property helps mitigate the negative effects of water on wear and corrosion, preventing sluggish valve action caused by gummy deposits. The Mobil Almo 500 Series oils also exhibit excellent preferential metal-wetting capabilities, ensuring continuous oil films even in the presence of water, which, combined with high EP characteristics, results in exceptional lubrication and extended equipment life. Furthermore, the Mobil Almo 529 boasts a high viscosity index and a low pour point, ensuring effective lubrication across a wide temperature range. It guards against icing stoppages caused by air expansion at low temperatures and provides adequate films on drill parts operating at high temperatures. The oil fog generation levels are also notably low, contributing to a cleaner operating environment. This product comes packaged in a convenient 5-gallon pail.
