Alpha 16X Turbo Kit

The AMS Performance Alpha 16X Turbo Kit represents a significant upgrade for the Nissan GT-R R35, engineered for increased horsepower and improved performance across the entire powerband. This comprehensive kit features totally redesigned tubular exhaust manifolds with 2.0-inch external diameter runners. Each manifold's interior is Extrude Honed to a smooth, mirror-like finish to ensure efficient exhaust gas flow to the "X" branded turbos. Custom cast 4-inch ALPHA branded compressor covers increase the turbo inlet size and feature maximized discharge routing for optimal flow, feeding into a high-velocity 2.5-inch to 3-inch lower intercooler pipe that offers improved airflow. The heart of the kit includes two Forced Performance CHRAs with a compressor wheel measuring 67.5mm inducer and 94mm exducer, and a turbine wheel measuring 72.5mm inducer and 66.5mm exducer. These are capable of 1100-1650 wheel horsepower without sacrificing spool time or power delivery, providing more horsepower throughout the powerband. Massive 4-inch carbon fiber intake ducts are included, designed using Solidworks© CAD and laser scanning to utilize all available space within the GT-R's engine bay. These intakes feature a true 4-inch cross-sectional area and are constructed from a Hi-Temp, PrePreg carbon fiber material with 3 layers of 1mm Twill Weave, capable of sustaining a 240C temperature threshold without discoloration or structural degradation. Additionally, the kit includes 3.5-inch (90mm) stainless steel downpipes. A key benefit is that the ALPHA 16X Turbo Systems are designed for a direct bolt-in installation, requiring no cutting of frame rails and retaining the use of A/C and power steering, differentiating it from competitor kits that often require such modifications for high horsepower levels. The kit fits all 2009+ USDM, JDM, Gulf, and European models (LHD & RHD) of the Nissan R35 GT-R.
