The AMS Performance Alpha Induction Kit is a cold air intake system engineered for the 2009+ Nissan GT-R. This kit features a speed density conversion, relocating the MAF sensor to eliminate issues associated with traditional intake pipes when running high horsepower. This conversion allows for more accurate measurement of airflow entering the engine, leading to smoother part-throttle operation and improved driveability. The system utilizes 76mm (3-inch) piping to increase power output and is proven efficient for applications up to 1400 HP. It also offers a simple solution for changing blow-off valves (BOVs) and venting to atmosphere without the usual consequences of a standard MAF system. The kit is extensively tested and proven for performance enhancement. Key features include improved driveability through speed density conversion, more accurate air-flow metering for smoother operation, 76mm piping for increased power, and a cold air intake design for a cooler air charge.
